Lead the Change. Be the Difference.
When I was a teenager, my mother sat beside my hospital bed and said something that changed my life forever: “Dario, the sooner you realize you are not a normal boy, and you cannot do what normal children do, the better life will be for you.”
At the time, those words added to the pain. I didn’t want to be different. I wanted to run, play, and push my limits like every other child. But sickle cell had other plans. The more I resisted the reality of my condition, the more I suffered. Eventually, something shifted. I stopped trying to live by default and started designing a life that worked for me. Instead of focusing on what I couldn’t do, I leaned into what I could. I redefined my playing field, built my resilience, and committed to a life of purpose and impact through maximizing my potential.
Today, that’s exactly what I use my voice to do—to provoke individuals, organizations, and even nations toward purpose fulfillment and the maximization of their potential through catalytic communication.
